The boot

These classic Timberland 6-Inch Waterproof boots were made to last years of regular wear, with rubber soles that are specially made to offer excellent durability in all terrains and climates. But even the most durable rubber soles eventually wear away and this particular pair were showing significant wear around the back of the heels and centre of the soles. When the customer reached out to us for a free diagnosis / quote, we offered to perform a full resole, replacing the soles along the full length of each boot with a new pair of Vibram 100 Montagna rubber soles.

Sole and heel replacement

We started off by carefully removing the old soles, while leaving the original mid sole (the layer of rubber between the outer soles and uppers) in place and untouched. We then glued into place a new pair of high-quality, highly durable Vibram 100 Montagna soles, which are made in a colour and with a tread very similar to the original Timberland soles and from an extremely hard-wearing rubber compound.
