This involve peeling back the outer soles, cutting a pair of matching patent leather pieces, adhering them into place around the tips of the toes, and then re-adhering the soles into place.
Protective sole installation
The leather soles were heavily worn, particularly around the tips of the toes, where the leather had not only lost its signature red finish but also worn quite thin. We repaired the leather soles and protected them against further damage. This involve rebuilding the soles where they had worn thin and then re-contouring the leather’s surface before installing a pair of thin rubber sole protectors — which had a glossy red finish made especially for Louboutin shoes and help to significantly improve both longevity and traction.
