Piping repair

The first involves replacing the damaged piping with an entirely new piping. The second involves repairing the existing piping by patching the damaged sections with a thin piece of matching or similar leather.
In this case, we repaired the existing piping. We started by undoing the leather on and beside the piping around the damaged areas. We then custom cut thin pieces of leather, large enough to cover the damaged parts of the piping, and glued them into place before restitching everything back into place.
