This Prada tote was in good condition except that the edging around the top rim of the bag had worn away, with the lining splitting from the body of the bag. When the customer reached out to us for a free diagnosis/quote, we offered to re-edge/re-wax the top rim of the bag.
Re-edging / re-waxing
We first removed the worn original edging — this is a wax applied to harden the otherwise vulnerable edges of bags and conceal seams. Having done so and cleaned all debris off the edging, we proceeded to apply a new black wax around the top rim of the bag.
