The bag

This vintage leather briefcase had been used for decades and held up quite well considering. However, the leather on the handles had worn off, leaving a rusty metallic handle visible. When the customer reached out to us for a free diagnosis/quote, we offered to re-cover the handles with new leather.

Handle leather re-covering

We first removed all traces of the original leather on the handles, so as to leave a clean base with which for us to work. We then custom-cut a a piece of leather that perfectly fit the shape of the original handle and glued that into place.
