These Bottega Veneta high top sneakers are sleek and well-made, with uppers comprising the highest quality suede and intricately woven leather. While the uppers remained in good shape, the rubber cup soles had begun disintegrating, with entire pieces coming apart. When this customer reached out to us for a free diagnosis/quote, we offered to perform a full resole.

Cup sole replacement

We started off by removing the existing soles, using a special solvent to loosen the rubber from the uppers without tearing the leather. We then cleaned off all the old glue on the uppers and treated the surface to ensure it could be properly adhered to a new pair of rubber soles.

We then crafted a new pair of cup soles from scratch, carefully shaping and glueing specialist rubber around the sides of, and then underneath, the sneakers. We then use specialist machinery to press the soles on the uppers, ensuring any air pockets are removed and the new soles properly adhere to the uppers.
