The shoulder strap and zipper pull on this Marc Jacobs bag had become worn around the edges, where the wax protecting the sides of the leather had pulled away, leaving the underlying leather exposed. We repaired the strap and zipper pull by glueing the loose leather back together and then re-waxing the edges.
This Chloé Faye shoulder bag was in decent shape, except that the leather tab to which the magnetic snap closure was attached had fallen off the bag due to the stitches holding it in place having come apart. We carefully re-stitched the leather tab back into place.
This Prada Galleria tote was thoroughly loved over the years, with the white saffiano leather heavily discoloured and the wax around the top of the bag and the edges of the shoulder strap worn right off. We cleaned and conditioned the leather throughout the bag before changing the colour to black and then re-waxing the worn edging.
The branding plate on this Marc Jacobs shoulder bag had most of the screws holding it in place missing, leaving it precariously hanging on to the bag and at risk of falling right off. We repaired the plate by replacing the screws holding it in place.
The suede lining on the inside of this Gucci messenger bag had torn off and worn through in several areas, leaving it beyond repair. We replaced the lining with a new custom leather lining.
This Louis Vuitton Cabas tote bag was almost entirely in good shape, except that the bag had lost its actual shape due to the softening of the bag’s canvas and lining — which tends to happen with time. We worked on firming up the bag’s interior in order to restore it shape.
This vintage Chanel bag had no lining, with the bag’s original lining having been removed for an unknown reason. We re-created the missing lining, crafting it from scratch with fresh leather based on the original Chanel design.
This Louis Vuitton Hampstead shoulder bag was looking great, with the vachetta leather developing a nice patina. But the leather corners around the bottom of the bag, where it tends to brush up against the ground and other objects, were worn and discoloured. We restored the leather by recolouring / refinishing it.
The zipper on this Mulberry bag had broken, with the fabric surrounding the zipper’s teeth having torn. We replaced the old zipper with an entirely new, high-quality YKK zipper to which we were able to attach the original Mulberry zipper runner / slider and pull.
The saffiano leather on this A.P.C. Half Moon cross-body bad had become heavily scuffed and discoloured, leaving the bag looking a little shabby. We cleaned and conditioned the leather throughout the bag before custom mixing a colour based on the existing and using that to recolour / refinish the leather.
