While Chanel shoulder bags typically come with a signature chain strap with leather woven through its links, this one was made with a quilted leather strap — which the customer was not particularly fond of. We replaced the leather strap with a Chanel-style chain strap.
The plaited rope around the soles on these Gucci GG Blooms Espadrille loafers had torn, leaving the loose threads at risk of further damage. We repaired the espadrille stitching by hand.
This Louis Vuitton Turenne PM handbag had a serious tear on the zipper, making it unusable with a stuck slider. We replaced the zipper with an entirely new one.
These ECCO shoes were in good shape after several years of wear, except that the soles and the velcro on the straps were heavily worn. We performed a full resole and replaced the worn velcro.
The main badge on this Prada saffiano bag had faded, losing its original gold plating. We replated the hardware to restore its original gold colour.
These classic Timberland 6-Inch Waterproof boots were made to last years of regular wear, but the otherwise highly durable soles were showing significant wear around the back of the heels and centre of the soles. We performed a full resole, replacing the soles along the full length of each boot with a new pair of Vibram 100 Montagna rubber soles.
This Louis Vuitton Neverfull bag was a little dirty on the inside and all four ends of the bag’s side straps had torn off. We cleaned the bag’s interior and repaired the side straps, rejoining them at the points where they had torn.
This vintage Bally handbag was decades old and in reasonably good shape, except that the leather exterior was heavily scuffed and the main hardware had lost its colour. We re-plated the hardware as well as cleaned, conditioned and recoloured / refinished the leather.
The soles on the Timberland hiking boots were made to be highly durable in the sense that the tread should not be expected to wear away despite years of regular wear. However, one of the soles on these boots had started coming apart from the body of the boots at the toes. We re-secured the soles to the uppers.
