The boots
The soles on these Zamberlan boots were beyond repair, with the outer soles worn and the midsoles disintegrating. When the customer reached out to us for a free diagnosis/quote, we offered to perform a full resole, installing Vibram outer soles alongside custom-made EVA midsoles.
Sole replacement
The soles on these boots were heavily worn, with the black outer soles having lost much of their tread (especially around the back) and the foam midsoles above them disintegrating.
Once the old soles were removed, we proceeded to install a pair of midsoles made from a lightweight EVA foam. The original midsoles on these boots were lightweight and shock absorbent, so we used EVA foam to maintain these qualities — without the risk of disintegration.
Finally, we installed a pair of hiking boot outer soles. In this case, we used the Vibram Foura outer soles, which are made from durable rubber, and are know for their durability, traction, and performance on rugged terrain, making them ideal for hiking boots like these.
