The boots

These Timberland 6-inch waterproof boots were left heavily stained around the toes after a night out. When the customer reached out to us for a free diagnosis / quote, we offered to clean and treat the nubuck leather to get the shoes back looking fresh.

Nubuck leather cleaning and stain treatment

We started off by brushing the nubuck leather to remove any dirt and pollutants sitting on the surface of the uppers. We then shampooed the nubuck leather with a specialist agent and carefully brushed this into the nubuck uppers. This helped to get the boots looking much cleaner, but the more stubborn alcohol stains were still visible, so we treated the leather with a specialist stain remover and let it sit to ensure it reached into deepest layers of the leather. While we are not able to guarantee the removal of stains like these, especially on nubuck / suede leathers, we were glad to see the stains gone in this case.
