These RM Williams Harbour casual shoes were truly well worn, as could be seen from the state of the nubuck leather uppers and the soles, which were thoroughly ground down. When the customer reached out to us for a free diagnosis/quote, we offered to resole the shoes.

Full resole

Unlike RM Williams line of Goodyear-welted boots (which have a layer of leather between the soles and leather uppers in to which the soles themselves are stitched), these shoes were not constructed in such a way that made them readily resole-able. So what we ended up doing is repairing the existing soles, building them up where they were worn before adding a full-length treaded rubber soles over the top. These are not original RM Williams rubber soles and so the result isn’t a full replacement of the original soles but rather a repair of the existing soles with extra reinforcement from the overlaid rubber soles.
