The shoes

The soles and heels on these Church’s suede monks were quite worn, leaving the shoes sitting unevenly and dangerously close to wearing into the heel blocks and the Goodyear welt. When the customer reached out to us for a free diagnosis/quote, we offered to perform a full resole, replacing the heels and soles along the entire length of each shoe.

Quarter rubber reheel

We started off by removing the original heel blocks and pulling off the original heel caps. We then replaced them with a pair of new, Italian-made quarter-rubber heel caps.

Full leather resole

Having removed the original heel blocks, we pulled off the old leather soles, carefully picking the stitching. We then installed a pair of premium leather heels in their place, stitching them into the original Goodyear welt. We then stained the leather soles for a premium finish before reattaching the heel blocks.
