We carefully glued down the loose leather just above the tips of the heel blocks and then proceeded to replace the missing heel tips with a sturdy pair of matching black heel tips.

We cleaned and sanded down the original red leather soles slightly before adding a pair of Italian-made Casali protective rubber soles over the top.
