These Gucci Rhyton logo leather sneakers had become dirty and scuffed through everyday wear. When the customer reached out to us for a free diagnosis/quote, we offered to clean, condition and re-colour / refinish the leather to get the sneakers looking and feeling fresher.

Leather cleaning, conditioning and recolouring / refinishing

We began by cleaning and conditioning throughout the leather throughout the uppers. This allowed us to remove accumulated dirt and debris on the surface as well as nourish the leather, making it more supple and less likely easily scratch / scuff going forward.

We then custom mixed a colour based on the original colour of the shoes and used that to recolour / refinish the leather uppers, effectively covering up the marks and discolouration that remained after the cleaning. We used multiple, thin layers to achieve a polished and consistent finish before sealing the leather with a specialist agent, for longevity.
