Cleaning and colour restoration
We began by cleaning and conditioning the leather throughout the exterior of the bag, effectively removing any surface dirt / debris. The conditioning also helped to nourish the leather, preparing it for the recolouring process.
One the bag was dry, we proceeded to recolour the leather throughout the exterior of the bag to black — applying multiple coats of specialist leather dye, with the leather left to dry in between to prevent cracking / clumping in the leather and allow for a smooth, consistent finish throughout the bag.
