The leather on this Alexander McQueen Skull Continental wallet was looking worse for wear after an unfortunate run-in with a washing machine. When the customer reached out to us for a free diagnosis/quote, we offered to clean and condition the leather before custom recolouring and refinishing it.

Leather colour restoration

We began by cleaning and conditioning the leather throughout the exterior of the wallet, to remove any dirt / debris and nourish the leather in preparation for the colour restoration work. We custom mixed a coloured based on the existing red leather and used that recolour the leather throughout the exterior of the wallet — using an airbrush to re-create the wallet’s original colour gradient. We finally applied a finishing agent to both seal in the colour and restore the leather’s original lustre.
