Metallic leather colour restoration
We began with a thorough cleaning and conditioning of the leather throughout the exterior of the bag. This ensures any dirt and impurities are removed from the surface of the leather, and that the leather is ready to absorb the new colour. We then custom mixed a gold metallic pigment based on the leather’s original colour, and carefully applied it to the leather in multiple thin layers to ensure an even and consistent finish. Once the leather had fully dried, we applied a protective topcoat, to seal in the colour and protect the leather from water damage and stains going forward.
