The canvas around the front pocket of this Isabel Marant shoulder bag had torn beside on the seams, leaving the pocket unusable and the canvas prone to further damage. Tear repair
While the stitching remained largely intact, the canvas around it had weakened and torn — leaving us unable to simply restitch the canvas into place. We ended up adhering a thin leather patch into place on the inside of the bag, to seal up the tear as cleanly as possible and reinforce the canvas against further damage. We then re-stitched the canvas into place on the panel adjacent to it.
